MEET THE TEAM

Club PROFESSIONAL - paul barrington 

We are delighted to introduce Paul Barrington who has recently joined our Pro Shop & Coaching team. Paul brings with him a wealth of experience which he has gained throughout his golfing career over the last 35+ years. Paul was playing off scratch at age 16 and turned professional at 18, qualifying as a PGA Professional on his 20th birthday. His first role as a PGA Professional was as an assistant to the late Terry Murray who founded Tall Pines Golf Club back in 1990. 

Paul’s experience as a Coach enables him to coach at all levels and abilities and he understands that everyone is an individual with different goals and ambitions, so his lessons are very much geared towards your individual needs and aspirations. Being a skilled Custom Fit specialist, he can also make sure that you have the right tools for the job so that you can not only get the best from your clubs, but also from your game.

Throughout his career, Paul’s reputation within the long drive circles grew, together with his talent for entertaining crowds, which is where his Golf Trick Show was born. Although he has since hung up his competitive Long Drive golf shoes, he does still perform his well renowned Golf Trick Show across the world at Corporate Days & Golf Club social events so not one to be missed at our next Pro’s Day!

golf PROFESSIONAL - ISAAC FELTHAM

Isaac Feltham is a valued member of our Pro Shop and Coaching team at Tall Pines.  With a BSc (Hons) in Sport Coaching and in his last year of a comprehensive 3 year degree with the PGA, Isaac has a solid understanding of coaching theories and techniques which he applies to his modern approach to golf coaching.  His continued motivation to play and perfect his own game enables him to bring a unique blend of experience that he can apply to his lessons which include swing, short game and on-course playing lessons.  This knowledge, together with his enthusiasm for the game, makes him a great asset to the Tall Pines Pro Shop team.

golf PROFESSIONAL - JAMIE THOMAS 

Jamie first started playing golf at the age of 13 and instantly fell in love with the game. He started his golfing career at SGS Golf Academy in Filton and is now in his 3rd and final year of his PGA training.  With 6 years’ worth of experience in the golf industry, he has become an important member of the Tall Pines Pro Shop & Coaching team.  Throughout his training, Jamie has covered every aspect of the game from the technical elements of the golf swing through to the short game so provides coaching to golfers at all levels.  As a Ping certified Custom Fit specialist, Jamie also provides an important service for those golfers who want to get the best from their clubs and their game.
